Socket end resilient seated gate valve, also known as socket non-rising stem soft seal gate valve, is a cut-off valve specially designed for PE/HDPE plastic pipeline systems. It adopts socket connection structure to match plastic pipes perfectly, paired with integral vulcanized rubber wedge for bidirectional bubble-tight sealing.

This valve abandons traditional flange or threaded connection. The two ends are integrated socket spigots, allowing direct hot-melt welding with HDPE water supply pipes. It features compact structure, concealed stem optional, low flow resistance and zero leakage, widely used in municipal buried plastic water pipelines, residential water supply and irrigation projects.

2. Structural & Core Advantages

(1) Integrated Socket Connection

Special bell-mouth socket ends for HDPE pipe hot fusion welding, seamless joint after welding, no leakage risk at pipeline connection point.

One-piece cast socket body, high structural strength, anti-pull-off, suitable for underground buried pipelines with soil settlement.

No extra flanges, loose flanges or transition fittings required, greatly reducing pipeline installation cost and construction time.

(2) Resilient Soft Seal Wedge

Ductile iron wedge fully wrapped with EPDM rubber by vulcanization. Elastic rubber absorbs machining deformation to realize bi-directional zero leakage under nominal pressure.

Full straight through flow channel without dead zone, no sediment accumulation, ideal for clean tap water.

Rubber material complies with European drinking water hygiene standards, no pollution to potable medium.

(3) Optional Concealed / Rising Stem Design

Concealed (non-rising) stem: Stem thread hidden inside bonnet, no vertical protrusion, space-saving for narrow valve pits. Anti-rust and anti-external collision.

Rising stem optional: Visible lifting stem to intuitively judge valve open/closed status, convenient for ground exposed pipe installation.

Stainless steel valve stem with multi-layer O-ring sealing, packing can be replaced without pipeline cutting.

(4) Full Anti-Corrosion Epoxy Coating

Inner and outer surfaces of ductile iron body and bonnet are coated with fusion bonded epoxy powder. Thick uniform coating resists rust, acid and alkali corrosion, adapting to humid underground soil environment.

(5) Light Operation & Multiple Drive Options

Polished stainless steel stem matched with brass wedge nut brings low rotation torque, easy handwheel operation. Equippable with extension spindle, gear operator and electric actuator for remote automatic control.
