The worm gear wafer butterfly valve is a high-performance, cost-effective flow control device widely applied in industrial, municipal, HVAC and water treatment pipeline systems. Different from lever-operated types, this valve adopts a worm gear transmission structure and wafer clamping connection design, perfectly balancing stable operation, precise throttling performance and space-saving installation. It is specifically engineered for medium and large-diameter pipelines and working conditions that require slow, steady opening and closing, effectively avoiding the water hammer phenomenon commonly caused by rapid fluid switching in piping systems.

Structurally, the valve features an ultra-thin wafer-type body, which is directly clamped between two pipe flanges with fastening bolts without additional flange ends or welding procedures. This compact structure greatly reduces the overall installation space, lowers pipeline load and cuts down engineering and material costs. Equipped with a worm gear reducer, the valve converts the rotary force of the handwheel into powerful torque to drive the butterfly disc. The gear deceleration mechanism greatly reduces manual operating force, enabling effortless and flexible operation even for large-size valves, which solves the labor-consuming problem of traditional lever butterfly valves in large-caliber specifications.

This butterfly valve adopts a mature elastic soft sealing structure. The valve seat is made of high-quality EPDM, NBR or PTFE materials, with excellent elasticity, aging resistance and sealing stability. The precision-machined butterfly disc fits closely with the elastic seat, achieving bubble-tight zero leakage under rated working pressure. The integrated rubber sealing design maintains reliable sealing performance after long-term opening and closing cycles and long-time static standby, adapting to complex and continuous industrial operating conditions. Meanwhile, the streamlined disc design minimizes fluid resistance, ensuring smooth medium circulation and low energy consumption in the pipeline system.

The worm gear transmission brings unique functional advantages. It has a self-locking function that can fix the valve disc at any opening angle from 0° to 90°, effectively preventing the valve from automatic reset or position deviation caused by fluid impact. This feature realizes accurate flow regulation and stable cut-off control, making it ideal for throttling adjustment of water, air, oil and other neutral media. In addition, the slow opening and closing speed suppresses pipeline vibration and water hammer, protecting pipes, pumps and other downstream equipment and extending the service life of the entire piping system.

Manufactured with high-standard materials, the valve body is made of high-strength ductile iron with epoxy resin electrostatic spraying on the surface, which is anti-corrosion, anti-rust and resistant to scale accumulation. The valve stem adopts high-precision stainless steel, featuring wear resistance, oxidation resistance and good structural stability. All products undergo strict shell strength and sealing pressure tests to comply with ISO9001, CE and other international quality standards. Available in complete specifications from DN40 to DN1200 with PN10 and PN16 pressure grades, it can also be modified with electric or pneumatic actuators for automatic control according to customer requirements.
