The pneumatic wafer butterfly valve is a high-speed, safe and reliable automatic pipeline control valve driven by compressed air. Combining a compact wafer-type valve body with a high-performance pneumatic actuator, this valve realizes rapid 90-degree opening, closing and flow regulation without manual operation or electric power. It is specially designed for industrial environments that require frequent switching, explosion-proof performance and high operational safety, and is widely used in water treatment, HVAC, chemical, petroleum, pharmaceutical and industrial fluid piping systems.

Featuring a typical wafer clamping structure, the valve body is ultra-light and slim in size. It is installed by clamping between two pipe flanges with through bolts, eliminating the need for welding or flange connection accessories. This space-saving design effectively reduces installation costs, shortens construction cycles and lowers the overall load of the pipeline system. Compared with flanged butterfly valves, the wafer type offers higher cost performance and stronger adaptability for narrow pipe shafts, ceiling piping and dense equipment layouts, making it the preferred choice for pipeline renovation and new engineering projects.

Driven by a pneumatic actuator, the valve relies on compressed air as power source to drive internal piston and gear rotation, enabling fast and stable valve action. It supports two core working modes: spring return and double acting. The spring return type can automatically reset to safe closed or open state once the air supply fails, providing fail-safe protection for critical industrial systems. The double-acting type delivers larger torque and faster switching speed, suitable for high-frequency working conditions. Equipped with optional limit switches, positioners and solenoid valves, the valve can realize precise flow adjustment and remote signal feedback to support automated system control.

The valve adopts a mature elastic soft-sealing system to ensure excellent sealing performance. High-quality EPDM, NBR or PTFE seat materials are optional to adapt to different media, temperatures and corrosive working environments. The precision-machined butterfly disc closely fits the elastic valve seat, achieving bubble-tight zero leakage under rated PN10 and PN16 working pressure. The streamlined disc design greatly reduces fluid resistance and pressure loss, ensuring stable pipeline circulation and energy-saving operation. The sealing structure retains good elasticity and tightness even after tens of thousands of frequent switching cycles.

Made of high-strength ductile iron, the valve body is treated with electrostatic epoxy powder coating to resist corrosion, rust and scale accumulation. The valve stem is manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, featuring outstanding wear resistance, oxidation resistance and structural stability. All products undergo strict hydraulic pressure testing for shell strength and sealing performance to comply with ISO and CE industrial standards. The complete specification range covers DN40 to DN1200, fully meeting the matching needs of various medium and low-pressure industrial and municipal pipeline systems.
