Threaded Resilient Seated Gate Valve
The Threaded Resilient Seated Gate Valve is a compact, small-bore soft-seal shut-off valve specially designed for low-diameter water supply pipelines, indoor plumbing, fire protection branch pipes and miniature industrial water systems. Featuring internal threaded end connection, this valve abandons bulky flange structure and is directly screwed onto standard pipe threads, enabling extremely fast installation, simple disassembly and space-saving layout. It is an ideal on-off valve for small-caliber pipeline systems where tight sealing, lightweight structure and convenient maintenance are highly required.
Manufactured from high-quality ductile iron, the valve body is treated with full fusion bonded epoxy coating inside and outside, providing outstanding resistance against rust, oxidation and chemical corrosion. The epoxy layer is non-toxic and compliant with drinking water standards, ensuring no secondary pollution during the delivery of tap water, domestic water and fire-fighting water. The core sealing part adopts an integrally vulcanized EPDM rubber wedge, which perfectly fits the valve body sealing surface through elastic compression. Different from traditional hard-seal gate valves, the resilient rubber structure can automatically compensate for machining tolerances, pipeline vibration and minor abrasion, realizing reliable bidirectional zero leakage under rated pressure.
Available in both rising stem and non-rising stem versions, the valve adapts to different installation environments. The rising stem type allows intuitive visual observation of valve opening status for easy daily inspection, while the non-rising stem type features a compact height, making it suitable for concealed installation in ceilings, narrow pipe trenches and compact equipment rooms. Compared with flange and grooved valves, the threaded connection greatly reduces overall volume and weight, lowering construction difficulty and pipeline load, especially suitable for DN15 to DN50 small-bore pipe networks.
With stable performance, simple structure and excellent cost performance, the Threaded Resilient Seated Gate Valve complies with international industry standards and has the advantages of zero leakage, anti-aging, easy maintenance and long service life. It is widely used in residential building water supply branches, commercial building fire sprinkler systems, industrial equipment cooling water pipelines, garden irrigation and small water treatment projects. As a mature and reliable small-caliber water control component, it has become one of the most commonly used shut-off valves in civil and light industrial water pipeline systems.
