JD745X Multifunctional Water Pump Control Valve is a hydraulic automatic control valve specially mounted on pump outlet pipelines, integrating three core functions: slow opening, quick anti-reverse closing and buffer slow closing. It replaces the combined assembly of separate check valve, water hammer arrester and cut-off valve, greatly simplifying pump room piping layout and providing all-round protection for water pumps, motors and pipeline systems. When the water pump starts, inlet water pressure fills the lower control chamber to lift the valve disc. Water inside the upper chamber discharges slowly through the slow-opening pilot valve, so the main valve opens gradually to eliminate startup water hammer and avoid instantaneous impact on pipelines. When the pump shuts down, inlet pressure drops sharply. Under spring tension and self-weight, the valve disc rapidly closes over 80% of the flow passage instantly to block medium backflow and prevent pump reverse rotation damage. The remaining small gap then closes slowly via differential pressure between upper and lower chambers, forming a pressure buffer to suppress destructive shutdown water hammer effectively. Operators can fine-tune opening and slow-closing speed by adjusting the two pilot valves to match different pump power and pipeline lengths.
