Angle Type Level Control Valve
Angle Type Level Control Valve is a self-operated hydraulic automatic valve specially used to automatically adjust liquid level in water tanks, reservoirs, cooling pools and water towers. Designed with an angular 90-degree body structure, it perfectly solves the installation limitation of straight-through level control valves in narrow space, overhead outlet and side-wall tank connection conditions. Without electric actuators, air compressors or external power supply, the valve relies entirely on buoyancy of the float to drive the pilot control system, realizing fully automatic water inflow cut-off and liquid level constant maintenance. It is widely matched with water supply equipment in municipal water plants, residential secondary water supply, industrial circulating water and landscape water storage facilities.
The whole valve set consists of angle-shaped main valve, float pilot valve, connecting control pipeline and regulating accessories. The angular flow channel changes the medium flow direction by 90 degrees, greatly shortening the vertical installation space required at the tank outlet and reducing pipeline bending layout. The main valve body is cast from high-strength ductile iron, with internal and external fusion bonded epoxy coating that is non-toxic, anti-rust and acid-alkali resistant, complying with drinking water sanitary standards. The sealing disc is lined with high-elastic EPDM rubber, achieving tight bubble-tight sealing when fully closed, effectively avoiding continuous dripping and water waste caused by incomplete shutoff. The built-in diaphragm drive assembly features sensitive response, stable opening and closing action, and strong resistance to tiny sediment interference in water.
Its automatic level adjustment principle is simple and reliable. When the liquid level inside the tank drops below the preset height, the float descends to open the pilot valve. The pressure inside the upper diaphragm chamber of the main valve is released rapidly, and inlet water pressure pushes the diaphragm upward to open the main valve channel, starting water replenishment. As the liquid level rises gradually, the float floats upward and closes the pilot valve. Pressure accumulates in the upper control chamber to push the valve disc down, slowly cutting off water inflow when reaching the target liquid level. Users can freely adjust the target water level by changing the installation height of the float, which brings flexible adaptation to different volume water tanks and water towers.
Compared with straight-type level control valves, the angle structure has obvious advantages in construction. It can be directly installed on the side wall or bottom outlet of the water tank without extra elbow fittings, reducing pipeline leakage points and overall project cost. The internal streamlined flow passage keeps low flow resistance during water intake, ensuring fast replenishment efficiency even under medium and low inlet pressure. The all-hydraulic linkage structure contains no easily damaged electrical components, so it can work stably in humid, dusty and long-term submerged environments with extremely low failure rate. Wearing parts such as rubber diaphragm and sealing disc can be replaced on site without cutting the connected pipeline, greatly simplifying daily maintenance work.
Standard specifications cover DN50 to DN600 with nominal pressure PN10 and PN16, applicable medium temperature from 0°C to 80°C for tap water, fire water, recycled industrial water and landscape water. Conforming to domestic and international valve test standards, Angle Type Level Control Valve features energy-saving, automatic operation, space-saving installation and long service life. It has become the standard supporting automatic water supply valve for water towers, underground water storage tanks, factory cooling pools and community secondary water supply pump rooms, realizing unattended constant liquid level management and effectively saving water resources and manual monitoring costs.
