1.Product Overview
Fire Grooved Gate Valve,also called grooved resilient seated gate valve for fire protection,is a dedicated shut-off valve engineered for fire sprinkler,standpipe and fire hydrant piping systems.Equipped with grooved pipe ends,it connects to steel pipes via mechanical grooved couplings instead of flanges or welding,delivering ultra-fast installation and convenient maintenance.
It falls into two mainstream structures:
OS&Y(Outside Screw&Yoke/Rising Stem Type):Visible lifting stem,real-time visual opening status inspection
NRS(Non-Rising Stem Type):Compact size for narrow pipe shafts;optional built-in supervisory tamper switch to transmit valve open/closed signals to fire control panels,complying with NFPA 13 fire safety standards
Rotating the handwheel vertically lifts or lowers the fully rubber-coated wedge gate to fully open or cut off water flow.The full-bore straight channel minimizes fluid resistance,and the EPDM integrated wedge realizes zero-leak soft sealing under rated working pressure.All surfaces are coated with thick anti-corrosion epoxy red paint for long-term service in fire water pipelines.

Ductile iron wedge fully wrapped with high-elastic EPDM rubber.The rubber deforms tightly against the valve seat to achieve bubble-tight shutoff,no dripping even after years of standby in fire systems.
Full-Bore Low Flow Resistance
Inner channel matches pipe inner diameter,no flow obstruction,stable water supply during fire emergency.
Dual Structure Options
OS&Y rising stem:Directly judge valve opening degree by exposed stem height,easy on-site inspection.
NRS non-rising stem:Space-saving for ceiling,underground and compact pipe rooms;optional signal switch for remote monitoring.

Valve body:Ductile iron GGG50 with 300μm epoxy powder coating,anti-rust and anti-scale.
